2009‛FOLLOWING THE TRACKS OF THE THRACIANS“ - a documentary film about the Thracian sanctuaries in Western Rhodope and Eastern Pirin regions.Authors: Valeri Yakov and Kuzman Petrov Cameraman: Feodor Surgov Director: Rumyana Angelakova The film won first prize for contribution to the development of tourism advertising of Bulgaria on the film festival ‛ON THE EAST COAST OF EUROPE "- Veliko Tarnovo - April 2009. The State Tourism Agency and the jury of the film festival ON THE EAST COAST OF EUROPE awarded RTVC – Blagoevgrad for contribution to the development of tourist advertising of Bulgaria. 2008‛PRESPA – THE TEARS OF GOD“ is a production of the Television Centre - Blagoevgrad broadcasted in Channel 1 of BNT.
The pleasure of the merits of the film is due to the master narrative for the extremely valuable heritage in the region of the Prespa Lake, Macedonia and Greece. At the festival ‛ON THE EAST COAST OF EUROPE‛ in Veliko Tarnovo, it was awarded as the best TV programme in the category of cultural-historic heritage and tourist potential of Bulgaria. The film "THE GREAT SACRAMENT OF THE RILA MONASTERY" is developed by a team of RTVC - Blagoevgrad and broadcast in the program of Channel 1 of Bulgarian National Television in the series ‛ The Unknown Bulgaria“. It is an art-documentary tale about the history and wealth of the Rila Monastery, which are not popular enough to the thousands of visitors to the monastery.
At the festival ‛ON THE EAST COAST OF EUROPE“ in Veliko Tarnovo the film won the Grand Prix for best film presenting and promoting tourist product in Bulgaria. For high art merits the film also won the Special Prize of the International Festival in Veliko Gradiste, Serbia, in August 2008. ‛A TRIAL WITHOUT BULLETS“ – a documentary about the liberation of Kavala during the Balkan war in 1912.
